Making Use of Evidence
“Making Use of Evidence”- FREE TRAINING - 14:00 - 16:00 - ONLINE
As part of The Council changing its culture to embed evidence -based decision making, RCT HDRC is working with the What Works Centre for Local Economic Growth team to deliver a training session on making use of evidence.
There is an ever -growing amount of evidence at people’s fingertips, but that doesn’t mean it’s all useful.
This workshop is delivered as a short introductory workshop with plenty of practical activities, and it’s designed for people to think, assess, and use evidence more effectively.
There is a minimum attendance requirement for courses of 6 participants. This applies to all courses regardless of the language preference. Any course with fewer than 6 applicants will be cancelled as it is financially unviable to run it under such circumstances. We would ask that you give us adequate notice if you are unable to attend any course you have booked on (at least 5 days), in order that we can determine whether it can proceed or not.
To BOOK please email HDRC@rctcbc.gov.uk. All our training is available through the medium of Welsh or English. If you would like to receive your training in Welsh, please would you let us know at least 10 days before the event.
You are welcome to communicate with us in Welsh.
