What support is available to me as a Lived Experience Advisor?

    You will receive support throughout your involvement with the HDRC to ensure you feel confident in carrying out your role 

    This will include: 

    • Support from the HDRC central team and collaborating partners 

    • Regular check-ins with our Public and Community Engagement Officer 

    • Support in attending meetings 

    • Access to an independent Benefits Advice Service (as required) 

    • Signposting to local support services

    What skills and experience do I need to be a Lived Experience Advisor?

    The main requirements are:

    • Live, work, play or study in RCT
    • Have relevant lived experience
    • Be passionate about improving outcomes for people and communities

    Any additional skills or experiences required will be outlined in each opportunity.
