Making Use of Data: Dodging Data Dread is an introductory, confidence‑building course designed to help people feel more comfortable, capable, and positive about using data in everyday decision‑making. The course uses plain language, practical examples, and relatable scenarios to demystify data and reduce anxiety.
The course aims to:
Reduce fear and overwhelm associated with data (“data dread”)
Show that data does not need to be complex or technical to be useful
Encourage a positive approach to evidence
Rather than teaching analysis, the focus is on mindset, confidence, and practical use.
About the session This is an online session held on Microsoft Teams. You can join using the link provided - you don’t need a Teams account.
What to expect The session will last around 45 minutes. You’ll be able to listen, take part, and ask questions.
Language Please let us know if you’d prefer Welsh or English.
