We were proud to host the first ever RCT HDRC Annual Conference recently, bringing together partners, colleagues, elected members and lived experience advisors from across Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough and beyond.
Guided by our theme, Working Together to Make a Change for RCT, the day showcased the power of collaboration, community voice and evidence-informed decision making in shaping healthier and fairer futures.
From discussions on prevention in local government - including child poverty, preventative spend and system-wide change - to interactive breakout sessions and the much-loved Evidence Pie Bingo, the energy, insight and commitment in the room was truly inspiring.
We also launched our Evidence Pie Animation, introducing an accessible framework to help organisations use different types of evidence more confidently and effectively. Watch it here.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended, contributed and supported this milestone event. And not forgetting a big thank you to our team who worked extremely hard to pull off a very successful event!
We’re excited to build on this momentum and continue embedding evidence and lived experience at the heart of decision-making.
